BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac: Official Launch Imminent

We are now hearing rumors that the launch of BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac is imminent, this backs up our earlier claims of a Friday release, from what we can tell you will be able to download the software as of 1pm Eastern.

BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac has been long awaited by many, and will allow all of the functionality which you would expect, such as synchronization of calendars, contacts, tasks and iTunes play-lists, other functionality will allow you to backup and restore your handset.

As the software becomes live we will keep you updated, for more information check out IntoMobile’s article here, whilst writing this post I checked the BlackBerry’s UK site, the software still wasn’t live.
