ASUS EeeBox EB1501 Nettop: Coming Soon

ASUS recently unveiled their latest nettop, this nettop is called the ASUS EeeBox EB1501, one unique selling point for this particular nettop is the fact it is ASUS’s first nettop with an internal optical drive.
The EB1501 features a pretty impressive hardware specification which includes and Intel Atom N330 Dual Core processor, support for up to 4GB DDR2-800, 250GB SATA hard drive, NVIDIA ION chipset, DVD Writer and internal WiFi compliant with 802.11b/g/n.
Connectivity options include 1 HDMI out port, 1 D-Sub, 1 eSATA, 1 Giga Lan, 6 USB 2.0, there is also a cardreader, headphone and microphone jack and S/PDIF out.
The nettop will launch with Windows 7 so it will at least be a few weeks until it becomes available, when it does it is expected to retail at around $581 for a 2GB model, as we find out more we will keep you updated, check out SlashGear for more information including photos and full specs.
