Apple Mighty Mouse 2010: Will feature multitouch technology
By: Alan Ng | October 2, 2009
We have learnt that Apple are planning to give their current mighty mouse product a complete design makeover. The new device could even be released before the end of the year and will incorporate Apple’s multitouch technology.
The news comes from AppleInsider, who have written in detail about the upcoming design. They have said that the new Mighty Mouse design could be released in time with the new lineup of iMac systems.
AppleInsider understands that the new Mighty Mouse will put an end to persistant issues with the mechanical roller ball by featuring ”expanded touch sensitive housing and multipoint touch detection mechanism”.
As to the appearance of the new design, it is thought that the ‘white’ design shell will be scrapped in favor of a new aluminium coating to match that of the new iMacs.
