You may have read our article approximately two weeks ago regarding a firmware update for the Nokia N86, at the time this article was written we weren’t sure of a definite release date, however according to a recent article on IntoMobile this update is now available.
The latest firmware update is version 20.115 and includes a lot of different improvements and bug fixes in many different areas, it seems most of Nokia’s focus has been on improving the photography capabilities, these improvements include face detection, improved still image quality and improved video quality.
Other improvements include bug-fixes to Ovi Maps, RealPlayer and a lot more, also there will be more free space on your handset and there will be a lot of Ovi related changes, for a full changelog check out this link.
All in all the firmware update seems pretty impressive, however as we always say if you are going to install the update back up personal data and ensure you have significant battery power beforehand, if you would like to install the update enter *#0000# into your N86 and choose check for updates from the options menu, check out IntoMobile for the original article.
