Motorola Barrage: Available On Verizon Wireless

Following our earlier news regarding a Verizon Wireless Nokia 2705 Shade we are now hearing that another handset is now available on Verizon Wireless, this handset is not a top of the range smartphone, instead it is a handset designed to be rugged.

This is the fourth handset Verizon have recently announced, other handsets announced include the HTC Ignacio, the previously mentioned Nokia Shade and the Samsung Razzle.

This handset is certified to military specifications so it can withstand high and low temperatures, it can handle being submerged in one meter of water for 30 minutes, it should also handle more than its fair share of vibrations, shocks and dust.

The handset itself will set you back $129.99 when purchased as part of a two year contract, this also takes into account a $50 mail-in rebate, for more information check out Cnet.
