By: Peter Chubb | September 30, 2009 | Leave a CommentThe Windows Ecosystem Team has now made the new ‘Compatible with Windows 7’ sticker official. Engadget said that they hope that this sticker will have more meaning than the Vista sticker did. The new sticker will appear on both hardware and peripherals.
The label, as the ones before it are meant to reassure customers that the product that they purchase will work perfectly with Windows 7. The Windows Ecosystem Team have worked much longer and been tougher with its testing requirements.
Windows Team Blog explains that the Windows Ecosystem Team has already passed more than 6,000 products, giving them the Windows 7 OS seal of approval. The new Compatible with Windows 7 Sticker will cover all variants of the operating system, including the 64-bit version.
