Valve have just released a fresh update for the PC version of Left 4 Dead, which addresses a few issues that became apparent after the release of the Crash Course DLC that went live yesterday.
As reported from Examiner, the update will once again enable variable “mp_gamemode” in the console. You’ll also be able to load maps directly with different game modes by specifying it in the map command.
Another changes include “mm_dedicated_force_servers”, which will let you allow specification of a list of dedicated server addresses manually used for searching.
Finally, there is a minor update to the shared libraries and DDLs, which should now fix the dedicated servers listing issue.
Head to the link above for more details on the update. It is available right now, soon as you restart your Steam client.
