Kindle: UK Release Soon?

It seems there may be a possibility that Amazon may release their Kindle ebook reader in the UK sometime next week, currently this is a rumor which has been started by unknown sources, however when we find out more definite information we will keep you posted.

According to these sources Amazon are said to have signed some sort of agreements with publishers, the unnamed source has this to say “The key things they needed to tie up have been tied up,” and added “the rumors I’ve heard are all saying next week.”

The Kindle has been pretty successful in the US, there are currently over 300,000 titles to download, and the device itself holds 200 titles, one great thing is that you do not require a computer to update the device, in-fact it is completely self sufficient as it connects directly to the Internet.

As mentioned above as we hear more reliable information we will keep you posted, head over to SlashGear for more information.

Are you a UK resident? Would you buy a Kindle?
