Recently Cnet have reviewed HP’s new Envy 13 laptop, it seems that this laptop has been released to compete with Apple’s 13 inch MacBook Pro, so much so that the design of the Envy 13 is said to be very similar to that of its competitor.
The Envy 13 features a pretty good hardware specification which includes an Intel Core 2 Duo (2.13GHz) processor, 3GB of DDR2 RAM, a 250GB hard disk and uses the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics chipset, the laptop comes with Windows 7 as standard.
Cnet’s review seems to come back pretty favorably, they seem to be impressed by the sleek design, its large touchpad, however are equally unimpressed by its lack of a back-lit keyboard, its limited ports and connectivity options and also the fact it is pretty heavy.
The starting price of the HP Envy 13 is $1,699, however there are a lot of upgrade options which can easily bump the prices past the $2,000 mark, for more information check out Cnet’s article here, you can see a first look video below.
