Microsoft Corp has announced that Ford Motor Co., Intel Corp., Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. and Continental Airlines Inc. will all help the software giant to introduce its new operating system, Windows 7. They will offer their help by all upgrading to the new OS.
In a recent Bloomberg article, it mentions that executives from the four companies all attended an event in San Francisco, hosted by Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer. They all discussed their plans of use for the Windows 7, Starwood have put the new OS on their computers at Sheraton hotel lobbies.
Intel has 500 of their staff trying out the new software; this is seen as a step in the right direction as the processor maker skipped the previous Windows OS upgrade. Auto Observer reports that Ford will upgrade all of their computers to Windows 7.
With all of these companies now backing the new Windows upgrade, this is proof that Windows 7 is a much better upgrade than Vista was. Then again, that would not be that hard to do.
