BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac: Download Friday

Earlier this month we reported that the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac would be released on September 25. It seems that our source got their information wrong; we have since learned that the software will be ready for download this Friday, October 2.

Engadget inform us that the download will be ready on October 2 1:00pm EST. We are now certain that this new piece of information is correct. Just visit the BlackBerry website, where you will be able to download the software once available.

The release time is not a great one as users will still be at work; we would not want you to download the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac during work hours. The new software will allow you to sync with iCal, Address Book, iTunes as well as backing up all of your contacts.
