Tactical Intervention: The next Counter-Strike
By: Alan Ng | September 29, 2009 | Leave a CommentIf you’re still a keen player of Counter-Strike on the PC, you’ll be very interested to know that the game’s creator Minh Le, has just announced his next game titled ‘Tactical Intervention.’
As reported from VG247, the game was created after Counter-Strike 2 was shelved a few years ago, giving Minh Le ideas to move on from the global success of CS.
The emphasis with this new game looks to be about speed, with reports of a max round of 2 minutes, in the hope that it will speed gameplay up so players are not waiting around so much in-between rounds.
If you’re interested in this, the beta should be available ‘soon’, while the full version is set to release before the end of the year. There is a group of screenshots over at IGN here.
