Samsung W880: Official in Korea
By: Jamie Pert | September 29, 2009 | Leave a CommentYesterday we briefly introduced you to an upcoming Samsung handset called the W880, we are now hearing news that we should see the handset released in Korea early next month, no further details on pricing and carriers have emerged yet.
The handsets main selling point is its impressive 12 megapixel sensor with a 3x optical zoom and a 6x digital zoom, the camera also features a Xenon flash, auto-focus, face detection and image stabilization.
The camera also has the ability of recording 720p video at 30 fps which to my knowledge is the first mainstream handset to offer this video capture quality, the handset also features a 3.3 inch touchscreen display which supports a resolution of 800×480, the handset also uses Samsung’s TouchWIZ UI.
As we hear more about pricing, release date and carrier details we will keep you posted, for more information check out IntoMobile’s article here, you can also see Samsung’s full press release here.
