Verizon Wireless are doing all they can to try and lure the iPhone to its network, and their recent unveiling of its 4G Long Term Evolution wireless network certainly looks as though it would be a very attractive offer for Apple and the future iPhone 4G.
We know that the iPhone 4G is a long way off, but with Verizon working on its LTE wireless network, this could mean that Apple will have to rethink its exclusivity deal with AT&T. Apple in the UK have already ended its exclusivity deal with O2, we learned yesterday that Orange were to get the iPhone. We have since learned that Vodafone UK will also be getting the iPhone, but a couple of months later than Orange.
Verizon know that they have to make certain that its 4G Network will function properly so that it can fully take advantage of future devices. Most other network carriers are already working on LTE, but it will be a race as to who will offer the best service.
Although, we know that AT&T do not offer the best service, and they still manage to keep hold of the Apple iPhone.
