You may have read our post earlier today regarding the possibility of the iPhone 3GS becoming available in the UK on Vodafone, at the time of that post these were only rumors however now according to an article on AppleInsider an agreement has been reached.
It is thought that Vodafone and Apple have reached an agreement which will allow them to sell both the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3GS in the UK and Ireland, the deal is said to begin in early 2010, however no official date has been announced yet.
It was only yesterday when we confirmed that another UK carrier (Orange) will also be allowed to offer the handsets, with O2, Orange and Vodafone all offering Apple’s popular handsets many are predicting a big price war in early 2010.
As we hear more about prices and release dates we will keep you posted, you can find out more information on AppleInsider, or even register your interest on Vodafone’s website here.

The iPhone 3GS doesn’t make the same grand leap that the iPhone 3G made from the first-generation model, but the latest Apple handset is still a compelling upgrade for some users. The iPhone 3GS is faster and we appreciate the new features and extended battery life, but call quality and 3G reception still need improvement.
