Yesterday we reported that the UK carrier Orange would soon be offering the iPhone 3GS, at the time of this article we also believed that we would soon see the handset available on T-Mobile, now it seems that the next UK carrier to offer the handset could well be Vodafone.
A recent article in the Telegraph (UK newspaper) seems to suggest that there may soon be a price war between Vodafone and Orange if and when they begin to offer the handsets, it is currently thought that Vodafone will offer the handset £100 cheaper then Orange will be, £100 is roughy the equivalent to $159.
An official announcement has not yet been made by Vodafone however it is expected soon, Vodafone currently offer the iPhone 3GS in many different countries so I would be very surprised if this is not true.

Given the reported price difference what carrier would you choose?

Would make sense as Vodafone appear to have recently improved their 3G coverage. Unfortunately I’ve already defected to O2 and the iPhone after the frustrating experience that was the Blackberry Storm.
