Download Microsoft Security Essentials Today

Microsoft recently offered a public beta download of its upcoming free antivirus app, for those of you who missed out you will be pleased to know that Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus software will be available today, September 29, as a public download. (Read Review)

PC World stated that when they wrote the article, the free download was not yet available. We have also looked and the software is still not available. We do know that it will be today, so we just have to sit back a bit a little more patient.

The Microsoft Security Essentials software will be available for Windows XP, Vista and the upcoming Windows 7 operating system. PC World explains that when Microsoft announced the free antivirus software last year, other companies who supplied free antivirus software worried that the software giant would end up dominating that market as well.
