Apple Store Down: New Product Update
By: Peter Chubb | September 29, 2009 | 1 CommentWe mentioned in a recent post “New MacBooks: Coming Soon?” seems like there was some truth in the news as the Apple Store is down. When you visit the US Apple Stores, it explains that they are just updating the site; this can only mean that there is to be a product update.
Engadget have only reported that it is the North America store down, but others could follow. We learned from Apple Insider that these new MacBook models would offer better value for money, meaning that they should be cheaper than ever.
One new model could be the new white polycarbonate shell MacBook, but we are not certain what the price tag will be. We know that when Apple reduce the price of a new model they always reduce the performance, let us hope that the balance is right, otherwise this could go very wrong for Apple.
