Sky TV coming to Xbox 360 in October

Just in case you forgot about the upcoming Sky features for the Xbox 360, we have just heard that Sky TV features will be going live on the Xbox 360 sometime next month.

As reported from Digital Spy, Sky Player on the 360 will be available to download for Xbox Live Gold Members. However you must be a subscriber of Sky to be able to receive specific premium content such as movies and sports.

Sky Player will give you the chance to enjoy live television straight from your Xbox 360, as well as being able to access on-demand content.

We are also hearing that the update will go live along with upcoming support for social networking features such as Twitter and Facebook.

Let us know if you’ll be planning to take advantage of Sky TV on your 360.

Hmm, just bought a second PS3 to stream media into another room including online TV channels. Have I just made a mistake and should have gone for a 360 instead.

If this is the case then this is what happens when people like M$ keep their cards too close to their chests. If I’d have known earlier that TV was available to all Gold subscribers they could have earned another sale, instead it went to $ony.
