Panasonic 3D Plasma TV Coming in 2010
By: Peter Chubb | September 28, 2009 | 2 CommentsPanasonic have set themselves a huge task of offering consumers a 3D Plasma TV sometime in 2010, but it looks as though they are on track as they have unveiled a 50-inch prototype model of a 3D Plasma television. The TV also comes with active glasses to help make the 3D experience possible.
Panasonic had announced last month that they were to release 3D home entertainment products in 2010, so this shows that they are taking the project seriously. The new 3D system works by switching between left and right frames on whatever you are viewing.
According to PC World, viewers have to wear special active glasses, these will sync with the TV to allow you to view the perfect image. The images that you see will be at a full HD resolution of 1,920 pixels by 1,080 pixels. The new Panasonic 3D Plasma TV was unveiled at its company’s headquarters in Osaka, and is due to make its first public appearance at next week’s Ceatec electronics show.
Sony are also looking into 3D technology.
