Palm Pre: $79.99 at Walmart today

Only last week we reported that the Palm Pre would be available from Amazon for just $99.99, but now one of their biggest rivals has gone one step further, slashing the price of the Pre to just $79.99.

As reported from BGR, the new price sees Walmart slash $100 off their previous price for a limited time only. The deal also involves a $100 mail-in rebate, whereas Amazon’s new $100 price was out the door.
