New MacBooks: Coming Soon?

There have been a few rumors emerging regarding a few new Apple products, one of these is an update to the iMac line, however now we are hearing of a possible new MacBook laptop, this new MacBook is said to be a low-cost model.

A recent article on AppleInsider said “The new models, which appear as if they could make their debut alongside a family of more versatile iMac’s in the coming weeks, are expected to arrive as the most affordable notebook offerings in the Mac maker’s history.” they also added ” The site adds, “One person familiar with pre-production units indicated to AppleInsider several weeks ago that models awaiting certification were seen in white polycarbonate shells, consistent with the sole $999 model currently available.”

Obviously lower cost MacBook’s will also mean lower performing MacBook’s, so Apple will have to get the balance correct, as we hear more from Apple we will keep you updated, check out Cnet for information.
