Motorola Sholes A855: Comes equipped with WiFi and EV-DO

We have an update for you on the Motorola Sholes A855 now, as it looks like we still should expect this handset sometime in October. The news comes after the Sholes has just passed FCC testing, which has also revealed a few features that you may not know about yet.

According to BGR, the FCC files revealed that the Motorola Sholes will not only come equipped with EVDO Rev A, but will also include support for Wi-Fi 802.11b/g.

Interestingly, we have also heard reports that Motorola are planning to drop the ‘Sholes’ tag, in favor of the Motorola ‘Tao’, when it comes to release time. We’ll keep you updated on this.
