Microsoft’s Multitouch Screen Keyboard Patent
By: Jamie Pert | September 28, 2009 | Leave a CommentYou may have read our recent article regarding a possible Microsoft Courier tablet, well details have now emerged regarding a new multitouch keyboard patent which it seems may be used on a future Microsoft tablet.
Exact details are not yet known, however it seems that the keyboard will align itself with your finger position, therefore touch typists will not need to look at the keyboard instead the keyboard will map itself to your finger position, this should make typos a lot less frequent.
This technology may be a huge development for touchscreen keyboards, and may just assist the development of touchscreen devices in the future, check out Cnet’s article for more details.
