iPhone MMS: AT&T ‘pleased’ with rollout, despite continued complaints

Following on from the rollout of their MMS features on Friday, AT&T have stated that they are ‘pleased’ with progress so far, despite reports of ongoing complaints about the service.

As reported from ComputerWorld, many iPhone owners have vented their frustration about the new MMS features on AT&T’s Facebook page, stating that the service has not been working properly or taking too long when sending photos or videos.

We wrote an article the other day about some of the problems that you were experiencing with the update, with some messages even taking up to 15-20 minutes to send through AT&T.

Well AT&T are ‘pleased’, but what about you? Let us know if MMS has been working for you today.

I’m glad ATT is pleased, but as a customer im sure as hell not. i’ve been trying to get MMS to work all weekend and after numerous calls to ATT and Apple i still can’t send pictures. I wonder how many complaints it would take for ATT to think the introduction of MMS was a failure?

Yes, MMS finally started working 2-3 days following the launch, however I’m still not happy with this Apple/AT&T marriage and strongly feel Apple should listen to the user base unhappy with AT&T’s network. This device should be spread to other carriers sooner than later. Pay attention to what the consumers want! iPhone on Verizon’s network!
