Exploding iPhones: Could Cause a Ban in Europe

You may have read our earlier posts regarding exploding iPhones in Europe, at the time there were only a few cases however Apple reported this to the European Commission and soon more and more “explosions” took place.

Now according to an article on SlashGear it seems that the European Commission have now asked Apple for more information regarding the “iPhone explosions”, if the problem is deemed a big enough risk to the public the European commission could ban the iPhone from the European market.

SlashGear’s article has no source so exactly where they got the story from is unclear, however it will be interesting to see what Apple’s response is, as we hear more on the matter we will keep you posted, you can also check out SlashGear’s article here.

I very much doubt that the iPhone will ever be banned in Europe, unless these reports of exploding iPhones really do begin to become frequent, I do however think that its about time that Apple officially addressed the matter.

Do you know anyone who’s iPhone has exploded? Feel free to add your comments below.

To get back on topic, his all thing is a huge misunderstanding brought to you by the press in Europe. I guess that’s the price to pay to have a product like the iPhone, all buzz and stuff….
