Airis Praxis Slim Air: MacBook Rip-off photos
By: Peter Chubb | September 28, 2009 | Leave a CommentAiris is famous for releasing products that look a lot like Apple devices, and the Praxis Slim Air is no exception. You will know just by the name that the Airis Praxis Slim Air is a Rip-off from the MacBook Air and it is certain to stir the minds over at Apple.
You can clearly see by the photos over at Engadget, which they discovered from Notebook Italia that it keeps up with the Air’s slim profile. The Praxis Slim Air also comes with a 12-inch screen, which runs at 1366 x 768 pixels.
Other features include a 160GB hard drive and a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU; this will certainly not give the Apple MacBook Air any concern. Connectivity comes in the way of HDMI, 2x USB and Wi-Fi; the small netbook will run on either Windows XP, Vista, 7 or Linux.
The price is also another major difference with this MacBook rip-off, you will be able to purchase an Airis Praxis Slim Air this October in Europe for €399, that’s about $586.
