Nokia Firmware Updates: For E63, E66, E71 and N96

Nokia have recently released firmware updates for four of their handsets, the updates are for the Nokia E63, Nokia E66, Nokia E71 and the Nokia N96, you can install these firmware updates via Nokia Software Updater or on the Nokia N96 by entering “*#0000#” then choosing “options”, “check for updates”.

The new firmware version for the E63 is v200.21.012, for the E66 it is v300.21.012, for the E71 it is v300.21.012 and finally for the N96 it is version 30.033, there is said to be a lot of performance improvements included in these updates along with improved HTML support, new Nokia mesaging and a new Hotmail application.

I tried updating my Nokia N96 via the “*#0000#” method however when I checked for updates it reported that their were no updates for my device (this may be because I’m in the UK), I have not tried using Nokia Software Updater yet.
