TomTom iPhone Car Kit: Price and Release Date Confirmed

For those of you who have downloaded the new TomTom app, you would have all been wondering where the hardware was. Well Engadget have now learned that you can Pre-order the TomTom Car Kit for iPhone 3GS for £99.95 on the Apple UK store.

Apple explains that the new hardware will be available in the next 2-3 weeks, included in this price is the navigation app itself. Apple has added a note on this, which we are not yet certain about. Engadget have also learned that the device will be available in Europe for € 99,95.

So what do you get in with the £99.95 price tag, the advanced TomTom navigation, enhanced GPS signal for the most accurate positioning, secure dock for your iPhone 3GS and 3G and an well in place easy-to-hear voice instructions with built-in speaker.
