Sony Motion Controller: RE5 release coming in 2010

Capcom confirmed at the Tokyo Game Show, that Resident Evil 5: Director’s Cut will have full support for the upcoming Sony Motion Controller. The new game is expected to be available Spring 2010.

As reported from JoyStiq, Capcom’s Jun Takeuchi demoed the game using the motion controller on stage at TGS. We don’t have any videos yet to show you, but we’ll let you know when they are available.

RE5 will be just one of many games that will have support for Sony’s upcoming motion tech. It’s an exciting prospect being able to see how the play will ‘replay’ whilst using a completely different control scheme.
