PS3 Slim: 250GB release confirmed, Japan gets Final Fantasy edition

Looks like all those 250GB Slim rumors were true, as Sony have just made the news official by announcing various bundles to release over in the UK and Japan.

As reported from VG247, the 250GB Slim will go on sale over in the UK on October 1st. They will be priced at £289.99 and you’ll get the choice between bundles with two platinum titles or a bundle with inFAMOUS.

Thats not all though, as from October 16th, you can also pick up a lovely Uncharted 2: Among Thieves bundle for all those that are interested.

As usual though, Japan gets all the goodies and what a lovely thing it is. It’s none other than a limited edition Final Fantasy XIII themed 250GB Slim. Its white/pink in color and features artwork of the main character ‘Lightning’. This thing of beauty will be priced 41600 Yen and will be available December 17th, so you better get your import glasses on if you want to pick one up before Christmas.
