Palm Pre: GSM Release Date Official

We have had various rumored release dates for the GSM Palm Pre for the last few months now, but now we finally have a confirmed release date for the UK launch of the Palm Pre.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, the UK release for Palm’s new smartphone has been officially set for October 16th. The phone will only be available on the O2 network, meaning that it has the same exclusivity that the Apple iPhone has on O2.

If you are interested in picking this up, you’ll be able to buy it in-store from O2, Carphone Warehouse or Phones4u. You will also be able to get it online from the O2 Shop.
