The first hands-on look we have seen of Photoshop Elements 8 has recently shown up on MacWorld, the article looks into the basics, the new look and a lot of the new features, you can see MacWorld’s fully detailed article here.
Some of the new features include Recompose, Smart Brush, Merge Exposures and Clean the Scene, Recompose allows you to cut down the size of a picture without losing any of the important parts, the example on MacRumor’s article shows three people standing near each-other, using recompose they manage to bring the people closer together whilst keeping the background looking original. Check out MacRumor’s article to find out more about these new and improved features.
Photoshop Elements 8 has been released simultaneously for both Mac and Windows and will set you back $99.99 direct from Adobe, however you are eligible for a $20 mail-in rebate, you can also download a free trial here.
