
Netflix Movies: PS3 and Wii support to come, exclusive on 360 for now
By: Alan Ng | September 23, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been reported that Netflix support for the Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii may be on the way sooner rather than later, after Netflix CEO Reed Hastings spoke about it in a recent interview.
Hasting’s interview was over at Reuters, where he also revealed plans for the company to work with the Apple iPhone in the future, as well as his thoughts on competing with YouTube and their upcoming movie service.
Back to consoles though, and Hastings revealed that the Netflix deal is currently exclusive to the Xbox 360 console, although he stated that Netflix will arrive on the PS3 and Wii ‘eventually’.
