iPhone MMS: AT&T inform owners about release

It has been reported that AT&T have starting sending out text messages to iPhone users, informing them of the long awaited MMS features that will be landing at the end of this week.

As reported from Apple Insider, the free text message from AT&T lets subscribers know that MMS will be coming on Friday September 25th. However, the MMS update will only be available for iPhone 3G and 3GS owners, so if you still have an original iPhone, you’ll be missing out unfortunately.

While most of have been getting the text messages sent throughout this week, it has also been confirmed that some areas in the US have already received the AT&T MMS upgrade. You can read more about this here.
