We were all expecting to learn all the details of the upcoming Alienware m15x later today from Dell, but it seems that three leaked documents have made their way online. The two key features that got our attention were the Core i7 processor and the 8GB of 1333MHz DDR3 memory.
Engadget was given the heads up on these documents once they appeared on the Dell support website. Other updates that you may want to know include a 15.6-inch 1920×1080, which comes with an LED backlit display. There is also an option for a standard hard drive or an SSD.
Other features include a 2-megapixel webcam, optional 9-cell 86Wh battery, Blu-ray disc option, 3x USB, Firewire, 1x eSATA, DisplayPort and VGA output and an ExpressCard and 8-in-1 card reader. There were no details on the graphics card; there are hopes of the Dell Alienware m15x having the same dual-GPU as the M17x, but it seems very doubtful.
