Top Pre-Orders: Halo 3 ODST and Modern Warfare 2

You have to hand it to game developers, when they decide to release a new title just before the holiday season. They do not get any bigger than Halo 3 ODST and Modern Warfare 2, and both are seeing huge sales in pre-orders. We asked in a recent post if you think that Halo 3 ODST: Is it the worst Halo yet?
Halo 3 ODST on the Xbox 360 has the largest number of pre-orders with almost 1.35 million, closely followed by Modern Warfare 2 also on the Xbox with just under 1.10 million pre-order sales. Modern Warfare 2 for the Sony PS3 is a long way off the figures that the 360 is enjoying, with just over 430,000 pre-orders.
Other games such as Assassin’s Creed II, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Tekken 6 and Forza Motorsport 3 are all seeing strong pre-order sales, but nothing like the big two. Pre-order sales of Uncharted 2 are expected to increase as the big marketing push has now begun.
