Halo 3 ODST: Is it the worst Halo yet?

We have another review for you to check out now on Halo 3: ODST, which has just been released this week. Much like the previous impressions of the game we told you about, this review states that it is the ‘worst Halo game in the series’. Slightly harsh? Maybe not.
In the review over at TechUnion, they have not wasted any time with their review, prefering to just sum up the game in the following key categories: Background, Story, Gameplay, Graphics and Soundtrack.
Looking down that list, I don’t see any plus points to point out, other than the game’s excellent controls and soundtrack. They have scored the game a 7.5, stating that Halo 3: ODST should of been released as an expansion, rather than marketed as a full game.

Oh don’t try and dampen the fire - I can’t wait to pick this up on my lunch and get home and get cracking. Bungie are master storytellers and I’m certain it will be a romp.
Oh don’t worry Kevin, I’m sure you’ll like it as a fan of the series, I’m just letting everyone know what the general opinion of the game is so far.

Worst yet this is a sony fanboy site funny how your the only one to think so i have the game and i would say its right up there with halo 1.
“Worst Halo yet”? Huh?
Halo 3: ODST has received an average review score of 85, which Metacritic classifies as “Generally favorable”. In other words, of the 36 ranked reviews, only 4 of them scored below 80 while 17 sites ranked it 90 or higher, including GameSpot which notoriously scores hyped titles lower than most other sites.
Love it! I just played it last night till 4:30. and I’m still not done! I hear someone say it only took 4 hours. Maybe in easy mode!?!? I’m playing on legendary and I have no complaints yet. Excellent game!
Worst? most definately not. Firefight is extremely difficult and even more fun. i got it on opening night and played for 4 hours on co-op with a buddy and we only got about halfway on normal. We’ve had to restart due to a small error where if you try and start on a different difficulty, you have to start all over again. No worries, legendary is definately worth my 65 bucks. Thank you, Bungie for creating, once again, an amazing game (expansion or not).

Worst halo yet!? Maybe to all those Sonny fan boys who need to say that is sucks, because they don’t want to admit that they lost out when they bought their PS3 and realized that is sucked. And no I’m not a Microsoft fan boy, in fact I loved PS2 and I still own one to this day. I Halo 3: ODST, I stayed up till 4:00 AM playing that game! Worst game yet, I don’t think so!
