HG Wells: Google reveals reason for the doodles

You may have noticed recently that Google have a new logo on their search engine website, these logos are quite often are changed and are referred to as Google Doodles, however the latest change has been a mystery to many.

Originally the second ‘O’ in Google was shown with a UFO beaming down to it, following this we then saw a crop-circle version of the logo, now the logo shows UFO’s around a farm-like seen, you can see all of the logos here.

Google have now announced revealed the reason behind these recent logos, Google are celebrating the life of HG Wells, the official Google Blog recently posted this comment “Now, we’re finally acknowledging the reason for the doodles with an official nod to Herbert George, who would be 143 years old today.”, check out Guardian for more details.
