If you’re planning to pick up Halo 3: ODST when it hits retail stores tomorrow, we have a roundup of reviews for you to take a look at, as many as 4 different ones in fact.
The reviews come to us courtesy of Ars Technica, CVG, Go Gaming Giant and Gorilla Jumpers, all of them with a contrasting opinion on the game.
Ars and Gorilla Jumpers have commented heavily on the rather hefty $60 price tag for the game, saying that is nothing short of a rip off from Microsoft. Ars elaborated on this further, by stating that the short campaign and just two new guns shouldn’t warrant a $60 price tag. GR also concludes their review by saying that the game would be a lot better had it been priced at $30-40.
On the other hand, CVG and Go Giant Giant have given Halo 3: ODST a glowing review, saying that if you’re a Halo nut, you’ll once again love the game.
Check out the reviews and let us know if you think the price is justified for the game or not.

from the reviews out and about so far…
i do not believe ODST warrants a $60 price tag.
where is this code at? i dont see a anything special…? theres a page with an invite but no code?
all i got was a piecework of paper saying you’re invited no code
i got it pre ordered but no code i called gamestop they said its on the website but some say its not out for a while so why the hell does it say we got it if we dont get code
It has a site on it which tell you to go to it and the release date is on it i havent gone on it myself but i will soon.
Actually there is no code, you’re key is the game itself. On the invitation sheet it says xbox 360 hard drive and Gold membership required. Obviously the gold is for playing the beta but I bet you have an option to download the multiplayer beta when you have the ODST game disc in. Most likely each disc has a specific code installed in it so you prolly cant just give to a friend to keep either.
If you download the Halo: Reach Teaser Trailer it says at the end that the Beta will be available in 2010
