AT&T’s New 3G MicroCell Website Is Live
By: Peter Chubb | September 21, 2009 | Leave a CommentThe AT&T MicroCell website is now live, but there are still no details on pricing and when the device will be available. The website gives you the chance to have a look at what the device looks like, thanks to an informative video.
Engadget explains that the 3G MicroCell that we are seeing today is much better than the one that we saw a few months back. The unlimited calling add-on has been confirmed, and AT&T also inform us that any calls that originate from the MicroCell before being passed over the ATAT network will not come out of your minutes.
AT&T do advise you to place the device next to a window, this will allow the GPS receiver to gain a better signal. The device includes GPS, so you will not be allowed to use it outside of the country, just like the Sprint and Verizon versions. We are still not certain of a release date, but if anyone has learned when this will be, then please let us and our readers know.
