AT&T 3G MicroCell: Make unlimited iPhone calls for $20
By: Alan Ng | September 21, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been reported that AT&T customers who are living in areas with poor signal, will have the option to pay $20 for unlimited iPhone calls over 3G, by using your own internet access.
As reported from Apple Insider, the move is part of AT&T’s new MicroCell appliance, which works by connecting to your internet connection at home, then provides you with 3G voice, data, SMS and MMS coverage.
Apple Insider reports that is this only for ‘nearby’ AT&T customers, although the company are also planning a separate deal, which will allow you to have an unlimited calling plan for a monthly fee of $20.
However, thats not all, as AT&T states that if you choose to go with their supplied internet, along with their landline service, then the monthly fee goes away entirely.
