By: Alan Ng | September 18, 2009 | Leave a CommentIf you are the sort of person who likes to drive around in the most stylish of cars, you should check out the new Volkswagen L1, which has just been unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show.
As reported from CarandDriver, the Volkswagen L1 is currently a prototype, but is close to production and definitely will be developed, according to Volkswagen.
In order to make the L1 a reality, Volkswagen decided to go with a two-cylinder, 39-hp turbo-diesel engine combined with a 14-hp electric motor. The vehicle can reach 100 mph thanks to solid lightweight engineering, an efficient powertrain and great aerodynamics.
