PS3′s MAG: Servers hit by heavy traffic
By: Alan Ng | September 18, 2009 | 11 CommentsAs many of you will be aware, Sony have just ended their closed beta for MAG and have now opened it up to their Qore subscribers, Select Media, SCEE Lottery Winners and frequent posters on their boards.
As a result of this, it has been reported that Sony are suffering from all the extra traffic, leaving many of you with beta codes locked out of the beta, for the moment.
Over at PS3Center, they are stating that one of the main issues, lies in the huge 3GB patch that beta participants will need to download first. Even worse, those who expected to receive beta codes today, will now have to wait until Monday at the earliest, which is an obvious nightmare.
Another issue, and probably the most annoying is that some users are reporting that their downloads are restarting back to zero, as a result of bad connections.
If you have been experiencing any of the problems mentioned above, or are just having general issues getting into the beta, let us know.
