By: Alan Ng | September 18, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been reported that Microsoft have launched a limited Beta test, for their range of Online Office applications which they are hoping will be a successful rival to Google’s web apps.
As reported from ComputerWorld, Microsoft have said that their Office web apps will be available to preview on their Windows Live website, via a special documents tab. Their web apps will include slimline online versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The apps will be available free as charge, but Microsoft have not set a date for the beta, stating that it will be available before the end of this year.
