Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 8: Top Tips
By: Jamie Pert | September 18, 2009 | Leave a CommentIf your looking to get the most out of Internet Explorer 8 a recent 4-page article on ComputerWorld may be worth checking out, their article is titled “8 quick tips for getting the most from IE8” and it also includes a list of useful keyboard short-cuts (some of which I didn’t know).
The 8 quick tips are titled “Use Accelerators to speed up your work”, “Bookmark only the info you need with Web Slices”, “Cover your tracks with InPrivate Browsing”, “Navigate pages without a mouse using Caret Browsing”, “Protect your privacy and even block ads with InPrivate Filtering”, “View incompatible pages with the Compatibility Viewer”, “Decode the Status Bar” and finally “Customize the interface”.
Personally I run Mozilla Firefox, however I must admit that Internet Explorer 8 is a great improvement when compared to Internet Explorer 7, these tips and tutorials can really improve your day to day usage of the browser and I highly recommend users checking them out, see the full article here.
