Good news for fans of Lost Planet, as Capcom have confirmed that the demo for Lost Planet 2 will hit the Playstation Store next week. It’s only a month after the Xbox 360 demo went live, but the PS3 version is set to include extra goodies.
As confirmed over at the US PS Blog, the demo will be released on September 24th, as part of next week’s store update and also, the start of the Tokyo Game Show.
The PS3 version of the demo will feature two missions that were not in the Xbox 360 version. These will be part of an online co-operative extermination of the Akrid of E.D.N. III.
To put it simply, the demo will allow teams of up to four players to join up via the PlayStation Network and then progress through three mission objectives.
