Now Shipping: OCZ’s PCIe SSD Z-Drive

OCZ have recently announced that their Z-Drive is now being shipped, OCZ’s PCIe SSD Z-Drive is a PCIe card which has four SSDs linked, these four SSD’s are linked and set up in a RAID 0 configuration.

There are two versions of the Z-Drive, one of these is the p84, this is MLC-based and allows a 750MBps maximum read speed and a 650MBps maximum write speed, the e84 is SLC-based and allows a maximum read speed of 800MBps, it also allows a maximum write speed of 750MBps.
