By: Alan Ng | September 17, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been reported that the upcoming sequel to popular zombie shooter Left 4 Dead, has been refused classification in Australia, due to the amount of ‘violence’ it contains.
As reported from VG247, the OFLC (Office of Film and Literature Classification) have explained that it is the ‘use of melee’ weapons in the game, that feature the most violence as players are able to perform decapitations and limb dismemberment.
As VG247 points out, these kind of features are what the gamers want to see and is one main reason why the game is so popular.
