Olympus EP-1 AF: Firmware Update

You may have read our posts in July which showed a mini review and hands-on regarding the Olympus E-P1, well now Olympus have released new firmware updates for the camera and its two lenses.

The firmware update (version 1.1) is for both the camera itself and lenses, it is said to improve the camera’s auto-focus. When the software updates it will update both the Olympus E-P1 and the Zuiko ED 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 lens and the Zuiko 17mm f2.8 lens.

Although the firmware update is not a necessity it is recommended to unlock more of its potential, you can locate the required software here, for more information check out Cnet.
